Give your agent access to web search with the Ateve skill.

Install with your agent

Paste the following prompt into your agent:

Read https://ateve.ai/install/agent-skills.md and follow the instructions to install the Ateve skill for my agent.

Your agent will use the installation guide to install ateve-search-api for its environment.

Install manually

Run this command in your project, then follow the prompts to select your agent:

npx @ateve/agent-skills

Use this option for other supported clients as well. To select a client directly, pass --agent:

Codex

npx @ateve/agent-skills --agent codex

Add --global to install for your user account. Reload your agent’s skills or start a new session after installation.

Configure your API key

Create a key in the Ateve Dashboard. In the environment used by your agent, replace YOUR_ATEVE_API_KEY with your key and run:

export ATEVE_API_KEY="YOUR_ATEVE_API_KEY"

Use ateve-search-api to find this week's AI model updates on openai.com and claude.ai.
Exclude reddit.com and twitter.com.
Cite your sources with URLs.
